Cars with external csc would normally last much longer.
The seals fail, I think partly because of the cheesy thin plastic and high pressure causing the part to flex. I'm pretty sure stomping the clutch to the floor on every shift is going to cause the seals to fail prematurely, but I'm not a mechanic.

Unfortunately I can't because I don't know the exact reason but something to do with shorter stroke of the shaft between the clutch pedal and csc. If I find the thread where I saw the information I will post the link. He claims no one has had a failure after installing his pedal kit, I have no reason to not believe the claim. I have the pedal kit installed and so far so good at 70,000 kms.

Post #125 of the "Review: RJM AFP Clutch Pedal System" thread in the engine & drivetrain section has the explaination. Sorry I couldn't do a link back, I'm forum illiterate.

if ure easy on it, im sure it can last 100K.

i would stay away from rapid pumping of the clutch even while doing the ranger method. my clutch started to squeak after the 2nd cycle. once it cooled down (?) no more noise. felt the same throughout though, and no loss off fluid.

personally im not worried at all.
