Why not just buy a sport model if you're going to completely change the integrity of the anniversary model to the point you can't tell its an anniversary outside of badges and red interior? Just my opinion
I'm with you there don't need anything more on mine until maybe FI

Who here has or has decided to keep their Z stock? Can you truly enjoy this vehicle to the fullest if left unmodified? Please chime in your pros and cons.
I went from an 07 Si, to an 07 350Z, and now an 09 370Z. All of them have been stock. I may have done a few upgrades for cosmetics, but nothing more than that.

Pros:
-if the mods are done right, it could be beneficial for your car.

Cons:
-as modified performance goes up, reliability goes down.
-when it comes time to trade in your car, anything aftermarket will reduce the value of your car.
-certain mods can actually hurt your car's reliability AND performance, despite what the aftermarket companies claim.

Owning a 40th its just not special enough not to mod. Its not like it has major differences compared to other z's besides the colors and 2 badges what is there really?

OP I say its possible to enjoy the car stock, mods aren't a necessity.

Bought my 2014 new white touring + sports package 6MT on dec 12th. Now it has 1800 miles , dam snow. only thing i wanted to do with my car was exhaust and intake. BAM, i got motor dyne cat back exhaust with 5 inch blue tips (stock cats) + stillen g3 cold air intake. these 2 mods will do no hard what so ever to your car and you will still have you're warranty. I'm not trying to void my warranty also. Nothing else I'm touching performance wise.

Nothing wrong with being stock. But I challenge you if you keep on being on the forum more often one way or another you cant avoid the itch of modding your Z.

So my advice stop viewing the for sale section. My 2 cents.

My 370 is bone-stock except for intakes, tires, exhaust, pulleys, belt, all fluids, rotors, brake lines, clutch pedal, brake pads, sway bars, end links, springs and dampers.

I picked up mine at the end of Aug. 2014. Still stock as of today though the F.I. CBE waiting to go on is going to change that.

I'm stock (no tats) and so is my Z. It's perfect the way it is. My old Z32 was perfect stock also.
