Hey guys ! I have do some research already , thinking to get a cold air intake . Right now I am looking on stillen G 3 cold air intake , because it is most popular intake for a Z . There are two different intake which are generation-3-ultra-long-tube-dual-intake-kit(402852)and generation-3-ultra-long-tube-dual-intake-kit with dry filter (402852DF) . I really want to know which one will fit 2012 370z nismo and the different between regular G3 intake with dry filter and without. How much does it cost to install a intake and how much I am lookin for get one ? Which website will be the best place to get one ?? Thanks for answering.

Both fit just fine. Just a preference on filter. I prefer K&N

Do I need to clean intake if it has dry filter?

Stillen G3 is rated number one. Try Stillen's website or a vendor on here for purchase.

Why are you asking the difference between oiled/dry air filters if you already stole the intake? Are you going to try and exchange it for the other?

One thing to keep in mind is that the K&N filters have to be re-oiled periodically. With a more exotic air intake where the filter's mounted behind the front bumper, that an be a real chore and a half.

injen and stillen are the 2 preferred intakes on here. both will perform similarly.

also, check AEM and Akuma (my personal favorite looking)

all are long tubes and will make about the same hp

Yes both filters require cleaning the only difference it that with a dry flow filter there is no need to re-oil.

Installed my Stillen CAI in Jan...if you do get one make sure you have the proper tools, a dremel or some form of one, time, and plenty of protective sheets, covers whatever for the bumper and car or just have it professionally installed.

The hardest part of it is dremeling out the holes for the tubes and removing the bumper.
