Is there any way to stop the air conditioner from turning on every time I start the car? Also does premium fuel really matter? ( I do understand the whole

3 quick questions.
Is there any way to stop the air conditioner from turning on every time I start the car?
Also does premium fuel really matter? ( I do understand the whole octane thing,) but I never used premium on my RX 8, and it worked fine. And last, I did ( premix oil in the gas ) on my RX 8, does anyone premix on their Z? thanks rez |

I've had 2 RX-8's, and 2 Rx-7's, you have to pre-mix on the rotary engines. They like dirty gas, it actually drastically helps the engine. Ultra-clean gas will kill a rotary engine.
I'm about 99.99999999999% positive you should not do that to a non-rotary engine. |

5 oz of synthetic oil per tank full, does really smooth out the motor.
And I would like the heat to come on without the air conditioner. I really don't want to turn it off all the time. And in cold weather does an engine need high octane just for everyday driving? |
