Buying Used 2013 or Newer or 2012 or Older?

Starting to seriously look for a 370. Is there a consensus opinion on buying a 2013 or newer or a 2012 or older. I believe it's all just cosmetics, but

Default Buying Used 2013 or Newer or 2012 or Older?

Starting to seriously look for a 370. Is there a consensus opinion on buying a 2013 or newer or a 2012 or older. I believe it's all just cosmetics, but if there are any other significant differences please let me know.

It looks like in my price target ($25k max) I can get a non-touring 2013 or newer or a touring 2012 or older. Not sure which way to go.

Sports package is a must in both.

Would love to hear opinions.

Thanks

With that Nismo GTR in your avatar, I wouldn't want to downgrade to a 370

I don't think anyone other than yourself can answer the question. You are the one who will be paying and driving the car.

Minimal difference in either...I'd go for the lowest mileage and price.

The 2013+ have way nicer wheels in the sport package and have the LED DRL bumper. Besides that there are not many differences besides the factory oil cooler starting in 2012

Something else to think about is having less options for front lip if you go 13+. If you plan on replacing w/ aftermarket bumper, then my point is moot.

Probably should have mentioned this, I won't do a lot as far as mods. Maybe an exhaust and intake. Will leave the wheels stock. Maybe get some spacers. That's about it.

From what I've heard, the issues that were happening to older versions were fixed from the 2013 models and up.

I should have asked this too. I have had a couple of Maximas and they were ridiculously reliable. Do you guys think trying to find a CPO is worth it?

I recently bought my 09 370Z, after 8 months of searching. I know you said your budget is 25K, so keep in mind there are lots of variables that go into this equation.

1. do you have a trade? if so, are you upside down?
2. if you find a 370Z for 25K, remember to add on taxes/registration fees/dealer fees/etc., which tack on about 2K to 4K.

My 09 Z Touring with Sports Package and Navi was 20K, but after everything was said and done, it came out to around 24K.

The extended warranty that comes with a CPO car means nothing to you? Having pricey items such as engine and transmission covered until 100k means nada?

In my opinion CPO is a big plus
