What do you like from the 350Z better than the 370Z?

2 things for me: -6 M/T shifter - the shifter on the 350Z was a lot firmer and shorter than the 370Z. I don't like the way the 370Z shifts

2 things for me:

-6 M/T shifter - the shifter on the 350Z was a lot firmer and shorter than the 370Z. I don't like the way the 370Z shifts and I don't like the way it feels. I find myself missing or mis-throw quite often in the 370Z.

-Remote hatch release - man, why did they take that away

and I kinda missed the rear windshield wiper the other day...just kinda...

Yeah, my sister ( owns yellow 05 350 vert) made sure to stick it to me about that remote hatch release. Not a bid deal if you havent had it before . Set aside the hatch release, I envy the digital speedo that the 350's had the most. Simple and more appealing than 2 clocks in the same area

I don't understand the hatch release issue. If I want to put something in the hatch area, I walk over to it and press the button. Why would someone need an additional method of opening it?

On topic, I like the front end of the 350z better than the 370z non-Nismo.

i miss the heated/auto dimming sideview/rearview mirrors alot =[ . the sideview mirrors on my 370z always build condensation ( getting chilly/rainy ) in northern va and takes forever to go away unless i wipe it clean with a rag or something. i also miss the gauge where it had all different functions. i think the clock for the third pod is absolutely ridiculous and completely stupid . oh ^ and the rear windshield wiper as well. but i still love the 370 with a passion

Nissan fixed this in the year 2011, it worked pretty good last winter here in the northeast.

I forgot about the heated mirrors. I definitely miss that.

The 370 has heated side view mirrors, I turned mine on for 2 minutes and almost burned my fingers touching them. (you turn them on by turning on the rear window defrost, there's no seperate button for it...but that's been like that since the Z32)

I have a 2012 Touring/Sport/Navi

2 reasons, I hate the idea of having to having to go to the middle of the rear of my car to press the button for the release...I can't just stand on the side and open the hatch...it's something that if you had the 350Z before, most will miss that feature...and also, if you tell something to put something in your car for you, not many know to look for a soft plastic button that's not a lever...if I have a remote, I wouldn't have to explain to them the intricacies of getting the hatch open...

I agree. If you have to go out to the hatch anyway, what is the point of a remote hatch release? Doh!

When they make a robot that takes my gear to the back, opens the hatch, stows the gear, then closes the hatch, we'll talk.

Rotating shifts? What do you do for a living? Man, I did that in I.T. for 15 years...I was younger then...not now, no way.

Looking forward to the audio pics!

i realize this is an old post, but with this logic regarding additional methods of opening the vehicle, why have a key hole on the door handle to open/lock, a button under the door handle to open/lock, and a key fob button to open/lock?

I recently upgraded from an 07 350Z to an 09 370Z and i do miss the truck hatch open button, along with:

-the stock exhaust note of the 350Z
-rear windshield wiper
-rear visibility through the back mid-rear panel is horrible in the 370Z

Keyhole. So you can wind your window back up when you used the key fob to lower them. Logic? I can't work it out LOL.

Isn't the keyhole there in case the battery dies? In which case the button and key fob methods wouldn't work?
