But you could get 2 Abarths

I've heard on fastlane daily the Q60 is getting a V6TT AMG Benz engine at 333 HP and a TT V8. Heard to believe and I wouldn't want a Benz engine as to me wouldn't feel like a japenese car. But Nissan and MB have been working together so wouldn't dismiss it.

Yea but for 70k I can get a 2013 gtr with less than 5k miles. 2015 gtr's are going for 85k at the dealer auction all day.

Plus the Alfa doesn't look good to me personally. It's cool but I wouldn't waste my money on it.

$45k for a TT Z is quite alright with me. My 2009 sticker as $43k with everything but the illuminated kick plates.

That was the rumor months ago.

Nissan has already said they aren't borrowing the engine from their new friends at Mercedes. It's going to be a new nissan engine in the q60.

Well, the current VQ37VHR is effectively a French / Japanese engine. But I don't really think of it as a Renault all that often

"Renault, Nissan, Hitachi" is forged right on the throttle body. I don't think Renault uses a VQ37VHR in any of their cars, but they have borrowed other VQ models.

2015 GT-R's going for $85k all day? What are you smoking? Maybe 2012 and earlier. MAYBE a very very few 2015 but not "all day" as you say

I have a few friends who go to auctions. They see 2009-2012 GT-R's mostly. But never a 2015.

Most are indeed going for low to mid 80s at dealerships too. I just moved one at 106k one for 86 for a forum member and ive seen a 103k premium go for 81 this week. 17k off is about the norm the last few months since the December incentive went active

The GTR market is in a bit of a severe free fall since August

I'm seeing I can get a new 2015 GT-R in my area for 88k (not that I am ready to drop that much money on a car right now) online. Why have the GT_R prices nose-dived so badly these past few months?

Most likely supply and demand. The GTR , at least in the Chicago area, is a very common car. Despite being long in tooth it is still an impressive car and Nissan continually updates it. Wish they did the same to the Z.

I'm also patiently waiting for new details of a Z34 successor. Was happy to hear that the new 3.0tt was a Nissan unit and not Mercedes.
