Why new master and slave cylinders as well as the line for a clutch job?
THey say is because the Clutch and Flywheel they would be installing is a high performance part that has been added to new Z's and GTR and so the Slave and Master Cylinder would have to be compatible.

Get like 3 different quotes and also ask them if they will install the clutch if you purchase from somewhere else. When you buy parts from the place of work, they usually mark it up higher than if you get it on your own.

Also agree. That's replacing every clutch part right down to the fluid.
My guess for replacing with stock is a pressure plate, clutch plate, & throwout beating. Plus maybe four hours labor including the beer run.

If these are not already upgraded, then at the very least you should upgrade the CSC while you are doing the clutch job. The master and slave are both prone to failure. If you don't replace them at the same time as the clutch, they'll probably just fail after some time with your new clutch, and if it's the CSC you're dropping the transmission again to fix it. There's no reason to replace the rubber clutch line unless it's failing or you're replacing it with a SS line.

tell that shop to go fuck themselves with those prices and that explanation The master cylinder is OEM (there are no available aftermarket ones that fit without some level of modification right now). You can buy it for $100; no reason to pay a 69% markup on it.

Also, you have left out information, so people are making assumptions. What kind of parts are these? OEM? Aftermarket?
