Car looks great, good color choice.
Go with the stillen gen 3 intake. If you are serious about modding it here's a decent list for you. Coilovers- kw Varient (personally I was extremely underwhelmed by the nismo suspension) hopefully they took the clips off your springs after delivery... I would check if I were you as most dealers leave these on. look in your wheel well and look at the spring if u see black clips attached to the spring get them off asap Exhaust- the nismo exhaust is very heavy and can be beaten for performance and weight. Litespeed titanium exhaust is nice and shaves like 30+ pounds off and adds I believe 14hp Fast intentions is another popular choice. Intake- stillen gen 3 Spacers- h and r or kics make good spacers. I believe 20mm front 25mm rear should put them perfectly if you plan to lower an inch or so. Enjoy the Nismo!

Beautiful car. They look better in person than in pics. Presence.
Is it easy to get to 450hp on these cars? There's one close to me that I'm heavily considering. How is the ride, handling, braking? |

Easy to get 450 hp? Sure. Cheap? No. It requires about $10-20k for forced induction of some kind.

Ouch. I have an Evo and I guess I'm spoiled into making power quickly for relatively cheap.
So, full bolt ons and a custom tune and we're looking at maybe around 400hp? I'm not talking to the wheels here. Any way good luck with her. Seats are awesome and I happen to love the "alcantara" style touches throughout the cabin. |

You'll be around 400 at the crank with the usual bolt ons and a tune. From there, open up your wallet.

lol I have a 350z but I actually left it stock. Not sure how I managed to do that. 400 at the crank sounds good. Just a little extra top end power and some torque is all I'm thinking.

Welcome to 370.com
You just purchased my next car!!! Post your opinion about it.. I'd like to know what you think of a few things... I had an 09 6 MT...currently in a last G37, I'm going to the 7sp auto.. I've changed my opinion on the fun associated with those sweet little shifter after test driving a M235i.. I leave the gear changing to my ZX10R.. I'd love to get the Bimmer but the Nismo is just do damn sexy.. anyhow.. I'd like to know how stiff the ride feels and if you notice road noise.. |

Hi,
Thank you. The car is a great looking machine first of all. You are absolutely right. Damn sexy. The car is stiff but not extremely stiff. I don't find it uncomfortable to drive at all. The complete opposite, I love driving it around locally. The only other two seater I can compare it to is a 1986 Corvette my friend had when we were younger. It was worked and had over 360hp back in the early 90's. The corvette was stiffer than my Nismo. I've been in newer Mustangs but really don't consider them true sports cars since they are not two seaters. I haven't noticed any real road noise. Nissan says they added more sound dampening for this Nismo. I haven't taken it on the highway but have done 60 on the side roads plenty and it never came to mind. Any other questions, let me know. Odd request.
Can you take a picture of your muffler? Actually a picture of the metal tag (plate) that is on the bottom passenger side? I have a curiosity. I went and test drove a 2015 NISMO at a local dealership in STL and noticed that the stock NISMO muffler was made HKS. I got a hold of a NISMO catback from a 2010 or '11 and i believe the tag was stamped AUTECH or something else. Can't remember. Here is a picture of my car: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-P...-11-37_715.jpg
