Nismo VSPEC intake duct!
Who all would be interested in Nismo specific intake duct?
This is a dry carbon sample: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps8pq5j97i.jpg http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...pslcble48s.jpg Available materials would be: FRP, Carbon, & Dry Carbon The intake duct would feed the area under the bumper for those with G3 intake or similar. this will allow more fresh air to the intakes which in theory could help promote more power. To give an idea what it would look like: (pre install mock up): http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...pskyondrjw.jpg http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...pst8a6ruzb.jpg Let me know if you would be interested and I can look to get these made before March 2015... So would this attach to the bumper, or would it need to be cut into the bumper?
It would be cut into the bumper.
Hmmm.... what does it look like installed?
I haven't installed it yet. But I can see about a better mock up pic
Maybe...
Hopefully this will give you guys a better idea how it will look before I install it
hmmm I think I may like this. not sure yet.
sub'd for more pics and install. more air to my intakes does sound pretty nice  |
Thanks! It will definitely help improve cold air flow to the intake area. However, we want to make sure it is not direct airflow onto the filters as this actually has been tested locally to decrease performance and starve the filter... In essence turbulence is created around the filter causing a starving affect.

You'll want/need to paint the crash bar, easy peasy.
