The 2013 NISMO looks more like a standard Z than the 2015... EXCEPT for the massive spoiler. The skirts don't call too much attention to themselves, because they match the color of the body. I believe this is why the 2014 NISMO added the offset color to bring more attention to the massive spoiler (which you have to be blind to miss anyways) and the skirts.

The 2015 NISMO keeps the offset color and adds more lines to it. The grill is somewhat shaped differently because of this. It loses the massive spoiler for a more subdue duckbill. I can understand someone overlooking a black or red NISMO... but the offset color on a white or silver 2015 are more pronounced.

From the rear it doesn't have the huge spoiler, but the bumper is two tone with a red line with that split for the center reflector (or fog light)... which is clearly different from a stock Z. Plus that NISMO badge on the right side of the trunk. If ALL you're looking at is the top of the trunk... sure... but if you're looking at the entire rear (i.e. not tailgating all the time), it's not the same.

That being said... if all anyone focuses on is a massive spoiler, I think that's kinda sad. The Z has beautiful curves which the NISMO body kit (old and new) tries to augment with contrasting straight lines. IMHO the 2015 body kit is more direct with the harsh angles... which is a plus in my book.
