Tires on 2012 Nismo
 

I have to get new back tires.

I always replaced them with the original Advan tires. But Yokohama is most likely discontinuing them.

I noticed the newer Nismo has a different tire all together.

Connecting the 19" Bridgestone® Potenza® S001[*] tires to the chassis are staggered-width 19" x 9.5" front and 19" x 10.5" RAYS®[*] forged aluminum-alloy wheels with an aggressive NISMO® two-tone finish.

Are these going to be about the same? I loved the way the Advans gripped and rode.. anyone have these right now..

Very few have them, but I assume they're better than the Advans.

I'd read the million threads on tires before deciding

I am in the same boat bud. I made it to 26,000 miles on the original set. I may make it 1,000 more before they are completely done. No since in wasting any rubber....LOL
