If not for Datsun 240z. You (cv129) probably driving a Honda Civic now. Lol We're just making fun of your comment about Datsun. Noting personal I guess your just not well informed about Datsun and Fairlady Z history. |

I didn't compare anything, I simply responded to your first statement that made no sense to me as this one doesn't either. He said a blown 5.0 vs GTR and your response is like a GTR can't be beaten by one or anything else for that matter. And as far as changing the game, exactly what are they doing that Porsche, Audi and Lamborghini haven't been doing for years with all wheel drive performance cars??? Oh, I get it........ They changed the game by making it affordable. I can go with that and I will admit the GTR is dollar for dollar probably the best bang for the buck second to a ZO6.

UPDATE: KEEPING THE Z!!! After quite a while of mulling things over, I took the majority's advice. I have recently found a nice used F150 crew cab that will serve as a great dd and has plenty of space for kids. Thank ALL of you for your input. We have a great community here and I urge anybody seeking advice to come here for some great perspective.

Yea there is something about the Z that makes you want to keep it. I'm looking for a beater truck myself like a ford ranger that's good on fuel and keeping my mistress in the garage more. Good choice and you won't regret it.
