UPDATE: KEEPING THE Z!!! After quite a while of mulling things over, I took the majority's advice. I have recently found a nice used F150 crew cab that will serve as a great dd and has plenty of space for kids. Thank ALL of you for your input. We have a great community here and I urge anybody seeking advice to come here for some great perspective.

Good call...you won't regret it!

Yea there is something about the Z that makes you want to keep it. I'm looking for a beater truck myself like a ford ranger that's good on fuel and keeping my mistress in the garage more. Good choice and you won't regret it.

Yeah its really hard to get rid of a mistress that you can ride/drive very good! Telling myself! :gtfo2:

I really would like that, but as I posted in another thread about the stock advans, I'm desperately in need of some new rubber. I'm AMAZED that these tires have got me 22,900 miles.
