Nismo Car Cover Question
 

Hey all,

Hopefully I don't get flamed for not using the search function. All the threads I found on it were fairly outdated.

I just bought a 2013 Nismo that I pick up next weekend. Apparently it doesn't have the cover with it. It will be parked in an indoor garage and I guess since I have a Nismo I would enjoy having the Nismo cover to go with it. I looked online and couldn't come up with much.

The old threads I browsed seemed to say the best bet is to order one directly through a Nissan Dealer. My salesmen has told me he would "sell me one at cost". From what I saw people were getting them from anywhere from $150-$350.

You'd think me giving the guy 34K he would maybe throw one in but I guess that isn't the case.

What's a fair price to pay for one of these and is the dealership the only place I will find one that has the Nismo label on it?

And $250k Ferraris don't come with covers, what made you think your used Datsun would? (Bit of a sarcastic joke btw)


I DO have an almost new Nismo branded OEM car cover for sale though (used once after the car was washed). Throw me an offer :tiphat:

As far as I could tell (having looked for one after I bought mine but settled for a cheapo version lol), only the dealerships have it with the Nismo label. That or a private seller.

Just a fun fact if you go to buy new versus say buying one listed above. The "factory" nismo branded one is not a nissan stocked item. When you order from a dealer they buy from CoverKing. So you pay some markup for basically having nismo logo on the bag and on the front of the cover. So if you want the exact same cover but can live without logo (cover king not authorized to sell logo version outside of dealer network) then buy from cover king. Regardless if you order one from dealer or ck it will come from ck. myself I'd negotiate for one above if I didn't already own one. It's a nice cover with nice fit and keeps the dust off car.
