Oil cooler for Nismo

I just got my 2011 Nismo and want to add an oil cooler. I was going to get the stillen 25 row. However I called and they say it will need modifications for the Nismo. Has anyone had it installed and how much harder or different is it to install.
Thanks

It's only the chassis damper that causes problems. I just removed mine and never looked back. Can't say I even felt a difference with the damper removed.

Yeah with my 25 row there is only a protective tube on the damper, the only real difference.

I got the Z1 34 row cooler. What I did was to flip the dampener around and add a 1/4" spacer behind the brackets for it.

I added a 25 row Z1 oil cooler without any problem after flipping the damper around. Can't really tell whether it made any noticeable difference in the handling. Not a very difficult install. Seems like jacking up the car, removing the bumper and the under cover is the most time consuming part. Plus, you'll also be doing an oil change at the same time.

Why?

What temps? What use?

There are many threads on this...

I just finished installing the Mishimoto oil cooler kit with the thermo plate. I picked up the setrab mount and recessed the rad inside the front cross brace. I used the setrab mount because it offered a better selection of mounting holes to choose from. The lines are paired up routed through a small gap on the passenger side of the car. No cutting required. Start to finish took about 2.5 hours. I also ended up inverting the front cross strut like others do when mounting the rad. Oil temps leveled at 185 to 190. Heat management for the motor is much improved in my view. Please PM me if you need more details.
