So, I don't know if the '13+ Sport Package is as stiff as the '15 NISMO or not, but the '15 NISMO is definitely not as stiff as the '14. For me, that works, as do the Recaro seats, navigation, Bose stereo with bluetooth, Homelink, et cetera et cetera that my '14 did not have.

For a race car... I would be putting Konis on anyway and it's not like I couldn't find a set of NISMO linear springs if those were the best thing you can get for the car... Or I'd do coilovers. As far as the aerodynamics, I've heard dumber things being done but I don't really know why Nissan would redesign the body kit for looks and hamper performance. It's not like the old setup was ugly, I would have traded my '14 for a '15 that was the same body kit but with the Recaros, Tech package, etc.

What I'm saying is, I didn't swap to a '15 because of the looks. I did it for the content. It's not that I don't like the looks better, but not THAT much. I think the *automatic* and the upgraded seats and such have brought more "new" people in to look at the NISMO - especially the Automatic. Because a lot of old guys who buy $45K toy cars want automatics... Why, I have no idea.
How does the 15 behave as opposed to the 09-14? Are the suspension changes strictly for comfort or did they keep the performance level? There are only 2 things that interest me about the 15+ over the 09-14..........LED running lights (another attempt to keep idiots from hitting my car) and the seats.

seat are cool looking but are not as comfortable as the base or sport seats, but not as bad as regular race seats. I'm 6'2" and 190lbs not fat at all and the seats hug tight so I'm guessing they were modeled for short Asian drivers. Id love to get my hands on some IPL leather seats....

Any cheaper way to convert my non-nismo 15' Z, into the nismo 15' Z bodykit? Like are there any good replicas out there?

gotta pay to play
biggest cost obstacle seems to be the running lights, and you can go with an aftermarket or custom option to fill them in if you want

Was looking at the Rear Nismo Fascia kit on Z1:

https://www.z1motorsports.com/aero-a...ia-p-4289.html

'Installation Note:

The NISMO Rear Fascia will bolt directly to the Non-NISMO 370Z. However the lower fascia retainer bracket will have to be removed. There will also be a gap in the fender liners. In order to properly secure the fascia and to fill the gap in the inner fender liners created by the NISMO rear fascia, you may purchase an optional hardware kit that includes everything necessary.'

is the optional hardware kit required or recommended for installation and will it look differently if I didn't use it?

Is there some reason you can't get this stuff through your local dealer? are there no nissan suppliers i dunno IN YOUR COUNTRY?

i mean this is not rocket science, you're just trying to get totally stock parts off another Z that was sold in your country

if you are patient and diligent you can just scour the forums and piece it together yourself with used stuff as much as possible and getting the OEM parts for what you can't find

Ok I am asking Nissan dealer now. I just assume they can't get Nismo stuff because there is no such thing as Nismo here. They only sell 370Z sports model here, nothing else.

But hopefully they can still get Nismo parts, just waiting for reply.

Well just got back from my local Nissan dealer here, Main North Nissan and the parts department have no access to any Nismo products here as I assumed.

I will have to get it from overseas.

It matches everything nismo has to offer. The new nismo looks F-N awesome in any color IMHO. I have a few disappointments though. The wheels not my taste (those can always be changed), the front bumper seems like overkill --too much going on--I am sure it is functional, and the rear wing doesn't look quite 370Z nismo, ---does not seem aggressive. (maybe I have to see it in person to really judge, videos and pics may not do it justice).

The rear bumper looks killer, and so does the interior! The blacked out headlights I want them!! It is unfortunate that they stopped with the numbering system. Personally speaking it makes the car feel that much more different than your regular Z other than the 40th.

We buy the nismo for the extras, body, suspension, a little more power. I can not say I would upgrade to the 2015 and up, it just doesn't do it for me. I would however like to get a hold of that rear bumper, minus the reflector/fog lamp. Again just my opinion
I saw it in person.....test drove it....yeah....the 09 SR Nizzy is gone...sold her and picked up the 2017 PW Nismo Tech AT.....unless you see and drive 15+, only then can you make a sound decision on whether you like it or not....I absolutely love it in every way. I will say the ride is not as stiff. Kinda weird, but handles better which is weird for me. Not used to the paddle shifting either yet. As you can see from my original post I was sketchy on the new look of the Nismo, I thought I was not going to like the wheels, until the sun hit them and I saw the detail and extreme amount of metallic glaring back at me along with the rest of the Nizzy glazed in pearl. The front bumper, I too thought it was too busy, until I saw it in person and seen how well it flows with the entire car itself. The interior has an entirely different feel to it. The only thing I can truthfully say I miss is the all leather steering wheel, not a fan of the suede wrap. iMHO it was a huge upgrade, as a lot of the features I wanted my 09 to have. I also prefer OEM vs AM on specific areas of the Z. Again seeing and driving it in person changed my entire outlook.

InEhh, I have driven both and have access to be both as I own a 2010 and my last friend owns a every option checked 2016. My car is definitely stiffer. Imo I think the 2014 and older looks more mature. It don't look like it's yellow "look at me." It looks damn good but I like mine better. The Recaro are really nice if yes driver. I hate sitting in the passenger seat for prolonged periods. It gets uncomfortable fast. Your arms just don't rest in a comfortable position. The front headlights look nice but mine are fine. But then it's blacked out on a black car. I own a metallic silver so the chrome matches well. I think I like the 2016 steering wheel better. The rear square reflector/light is poop ugly. I hate it. As for the spoiler. My giant wing rocks! That flat thing is weak.

I have owned both as daily drivers...2011 and 2015 nismos...both are beautiful. I would like to put the big wing on my 2015 though, but you can't see the competition in your rear view mirror with the stock wing. The only good thing it did was block the bright lights behind me. The Amuse wing looks like the ticket, but the edge goes to the 2015, the seats and navigation/ camera make the difference

Beautiful pics and nice side by side comparison, I seen a gorgeous gun metal 09-14 Nizzy earlier today, that rear spoiler looks more aggressive and should be in the 15+ LoL, I am considering a swap! I like them both and yes you are right, I get way more "look at me" attention in the 17 than I did in the 09! Don't know if it's the color or the aero...
