I agree but without the side skirts the front bumper won't go with your stock sides. It may look OK but not complete.
Maybe someone can photo shop it for you.

Keep in mind when you order the bumper it will be unpainted so you will need to show the painter where to paint red and hope it comes out good.

I thought each car -- because of it's engine and purpose -- would require a different shaped body to best harness it's potential... but I guess Nissan thinks not. The NISMO Note looks like a hatchback NISMO Z.

What I'm really amused about, is that NISMO parts are waaaaaaay overcharged by Nissan. So when someone who did spend a little extra for his NISMO Note gets in an accident, he might be in for a little surprise when the shop gives him a parts quote (or the guy that rear ended him).

I guess Nissan really thinks there's people out there who need a garage full of NISMO. Pick up the kids in the NISMO Note. The wife drives the NISMO Sentra. You drive the NISMO 370Z to work and use the NISMO Juke for rainy days. The NISMO GT-R is for those secret nights when seeing the sexy mistress.

I called the Auto Nation dealership where I purchased my 2012 370Z w/ Sports Package and asked about the new Nismo. Said they weren't expecting any until October at the earliest, but told me they could special order one if I wanted. No price was given, plus I don't wanna' deal with dealer mark-up on a new model. I went through the USAA Truecar buying service before and got a decent discount and would prefer to follow the same steps again.

I got burned when pre-ordering a car once. So I don't trust a dealer until they can provide two items:

1.) Order Guide / Reference Guide
2.) Open Allocation (sometimes called Allocation Number)

The Order Guide is what the dealer uses to actually order the car. It shows what options are available, how much it costs, etc. Most dealers won't actually let you look at the Order Guide, because it shows what they really pay, but they should be able to prove they have one.

The Open Allocation is basically the order number. It's what's used for status reports: can the dealership even get the car, what date will it be built at the factory, what's the car's status, how long until delivery, VIN, etc.

Any dealership can promise to preorder anything you want -- but only those who can pull it off will have an Order Guide and Open Allocation. At least that's been my experience.

Yeah. I'm only exchanging emails right now, but I wouldn't give them a penny until I see an order guide, prices, and had an agreed upon final price. And even then, like you say, I'd want a guarantee in writing that they'd be able to be able to actually get the car.

I think I'm with you if toyota release that ft1 I will be done with Nissan as well. It's bad when my lightly modded 350z was more fun and more reliable then my 2013 nismo Z. I know they cheaped out on some parts and just made the car have way more blind spots.

At the rate that Nissan is going, Nismo will end up becoming the new base model...

Heh... we are now in the LAST week of July. Let's see if this car actually goes on sale in the month Nissan said it would.

the 2013 370 NISMO is a great model, as I purchased one Jan 15, 2013.. Got totaled on 17 April 2014. So i purchased a 2014 370z NISMO on 28 April. Having owned both, I like the 2014 better, It definately stands out amongst any other and previous models with the Charcoal accents. it took me a while to get used to those accents, but it quickly identifies what year/model it is, while there is very little distinguishing factors viewed by the naked eye in the previous models. Just my personal opinion of course from owning 2013 & 2014.
At the end of the day Any year of the NISMO is a head turner, im not too impressed by the 2015 version tho, it seems theyre taking the muscle, and hard core beauty away from the car , to a more luxury type sport look.
