Pretty much everyone has one now. And factory turbo motors usually have the ability to make loads more power than stock with bolt-ons and a tune. And if the car's lighter, it's going to be faster. Can easily bump the power, looking into which Mercedes engine it is currently and what can be done.
I will say this though, if it is a 4 cylinder in the new Z the Z is dead. Yes it will live on, but it will be a new breed of the car in a different arena.
