My sponsored CarbonSignal's Nismo Lip Kit

7 Attachment(s)
So this is my first post in the 3 years I have been on here so please be kind lol.:tiphat:

But I was one of the two lucky Nismo's to get sponsored by Carbon Signal for their Nismo only lip kit!!!

I was so happy that finally the new 86 was not getting all the attention for once.:happydance:

I must say the quality of the work and of the carbon was amazing.
I had got some F1 style side mirrors from another company and their carbon looked fake compared to Carbon Signal's carbon.

Im very pleased with their work, the kit adds so much aggressiveness to an already aggressive looking car.

The fitment is about as good as you can get without being OEM. I can not wait for more products from them for our cars.

So at this point I will shut up and let the pictures talk.

Thank you Carbon Signal for the awesome opportunity you gave my Nismo!!

nhbpcivicsi 12-08-2013 04:19 PM

is the company selling those lips? cuz I may seriously consider one due to the gap between the bumper and the diffuser.. this lip might just be the solution to eliminate that gap. Do you think I would scrape with OEM nismo drop?

370ZNISMO#704 12-08-2013 07:39 PM

Yes they are still selling them. And no not with stock suspension you will be fine. There is a group buy going for them right now I believe.

Bump for a company not forgetting about the Nismo guys.

tanamerra 12-14-2013 08:56 AM

Very nice set up. i am in the process of installing the kit on my ride. Will post pics when finished. Wish CarbonSignal would make the rear plate cover for Nismo model like the one EvoR makes for the regular Z. It would really go nice with the CarbonSignal CF spoiler and diffuser.

Did you get the rear diffuser and spats?

370ZNISMO#704 12-14-2013 02:46 PM

My spats are on the way. I'll post pics when I get them installed.

tanamerra 12-14-2013 07:07 PM

Not familiar with the spats. Did not see them on their website. Any pics available?

I asked them to make the license plate area cf piece and he was not against it he just dose not have access to a Nismo all the time so it makes it hard.

Beautiful pics thanks for posting.

nhbpcivicsi 12-15-2013 01:23 PM

I just noticed that you have the license plate area in a different color (wrapped im guessing?) I actually thought about doing the same thing for my gun metallic nismo due to a little scratch just below the plate.. just wasn't sure how black wrap would look on a gun metallic.. any suggestions? :)

Donald@Carbonsignal 12-15-2013 02:07 PM

I think it would look good, if you have CF trim parts (like ours) go with a gloss vinyl. If not i'd go with matte black vinyl, just my thoughts maybe do your roof also.

I actually considered purchasing the front lip from you guys due to a gap between the front bumper and the plastic diffuser part (something that is quite common with the nismo) because the lip would hide it, but the price was too expensive.. I could probably get a brand new bumper for that amount :icon17: . so now im thinking about wrapping the license plate area and the front OEM nismo lip extension thingy.. lol

Those body pieces are pure sex OP. Definitely reminds of the Chargespeed sides. Very nice.

We offer side blades like these for the non-nismo 370 also.

370ZNISMO#704 12-15-2013 05:54 PM

So did a epic tape job and plasti dipped the plate area. But the vinyl will be hard to get to stay in the corners. But good luck on the direction you take. A dyes do a matte blk would look good.
