OTD Price
Hi Everyone,
So i am heading over to the dealer this weekend, to negotiate for the 2013 Magma Red. Just wondering what is the out-the-door price that you guys got yours for? And what option(s) were included in your price? OTD means tax, license, misc. fees are all included. thanks! |

I paid msrp AFTER tax, title, license, nismo floor mats, bose package, nismo trunk mat, nismo plate brackets, nismo valve stem caps, Z illuminated kick plates, the best extended waranty "platinum" and gap insurance. financed 72 months at 6%
might sound bad to most but I have like low 500s credit so it was pretty much a god send deal for someone like me. |

Focus on getting the price at invoice, plenty of places to look up the current invoice pricing. Also consider buying some of the "options" outside of the dealership that can be. It will be cheaper plus they won't try to roll it into the financing to save yourself money over the long term.

Yeah, don't ever finance anything but the car itself. Paying interest for years on a $150 set of kickplates or some other add on is silly.

MSRP is usually a good out the door price but local taxes and regristration can effect how good that is. If it were me I would ask for 39,754 starting price then figure in taxes, state registration fees, tags, and title. Overall I wouldn't pay more then 75$ for documentation. And figure a few hundred for the dealers time.
For me: Options Kick Plate, Floor and Trunk Mats $((37,693-6,500)*1.07)+475. In March 2011. You do the math =P If you haven't checked out truecar.com you should, that's how I worked out my pricing. Also trade-ins and loans through the dealership all effect pricing. |

I got a pretty decent deal myself. 38k OTD on a 2010 in 2010.
MSRP was 40 something, price before tax, tag, etc was 36.5 You're going for a 2013 when the 2014 models are already out. You have some room to bargain. There may even be a few rebates, etc for them. Biggest thing, be willing to walk out the door. They're not the only Nissan dealership in the country and there are plenty who will give you a good deal if they don't. I'd say 3k under MSRP for the base price is a decent place to be and not unheard of around here. As others said your tax, tag, title etc may vary.

Also my 13 was ordered. Bought it before it was even available. I had one pr the first 13s sold in the us, and probably THE first 13 magma red. So i didnt really have room to bargain because of that + my child like credit score.

thanks guys! the one i am looking at has the Bose system and MSRP is $45000. Currently promo is 0.00% 36months or $1000 rebate. I am in Orange County CA, so they are pretty good with giving me OTD pricing, so this is why i was asking about OTD. I'd be happy if i can get OTD in the $43000 range.

I've got the Bose in my touring. It's not worth paying extra for.

The only reason to get the Bose is if you have to in order to get the nav. If you can't get the nav, get the base audio. Either way you'll replace it, but replacing the Bose is a pain in the ***.
