Default Sun visor Holder!

Does anybody else have a problem with their sun visor holder being so loose? Every time I put it up after the sun goes down and it always pops off, driver and passenger side. Any help would be appreciated!

No problems with my '09, but I don't use the visors a lot. Can you give a few more details as to what "pops off" means?

Only three wear points that I can see on mine: the clip attached to the roof, the roller on the visor, and the shaft the roller rides on. Not sure where you'd find replacement parts. I'm guessing Nissan sells visors as a complete unit, maybe even a set.

Might try wrapping a layer of thin tape around the roller but it's going to have to be some real good tape to handle the stress.

Maybe remove the clip, warm it up, and adjust spacing.

True, was thinking of putting electric tape around the piece the holder set in to, or maybe shrink tube!

Electrical tape is a BAD idea! The sticky stuff likes to migrate when it gets hot and it's a rather soft grade of PVC. Heat-shrink tubing will probably work great if you can figure out how to get it on the roller.

Edit: The cheaper, thinner heat-shrink tubing might work better. The good stuff may be too thick and cause more damage to the clip.

Both of mine are loose and easily pop out. Car has about 1800 miles on it.

Don't that just sucks, looks like mine has been abused and I'm trying to find a way to fix this! As the dealer compare it to other nismo and the same thing! My friend had the base and it tight as hell, I suspect manufacturing defect!
