Does the Nismo 370z handle better than the 370z sport package?

I would think after a tune NISMO handles better. But I didn't give much of a try on other versions so I can't give much intuition. I was attracted by the looking of NISMO immediately walked into the dealership (except those LED light stripes! I want those!) The limited production tag was an extra for me cuz I had no idea regard that.

it does. those times were on willow springs. its bumpy as a peanut turd there, on a smooth track with some "NOT POS YOKO" tires on it you might quickly notice its a setup meant to run soft track tires and will perform better. And..... the 1/4 time is common sense, cars with a stiff rear cant hook, especially with low pro tires. But if you learn to DRIVE the car, which these reviewers have not as they have it for a day...... you learn to launch it. Ive raced 5 stock for stock sports and bases against my nismo and I havent lost yet in the 1/4. Im no god driver ether, im claiming its 100% car not driver. This is my second nismo. I owned a base first, then a sport, then an 09 red nismo, now the 13. yes it handles better....... but omfg be warned, its the worlds most uncomfortable car EVER on normal roads. if you ran over some change on the road, you could tell if its a quarter or a nickle.

man speaks the truth...after sway bars and stiffer coilovers I'm able to tell the difference between nickle or a dime

+1 to the other comment of stiffer doesn't mean faster...

Just to make sure did you take the spacers out?

and I agree NISMOs are quite bumpy on road. I hope all sports cars feel this way.

Looks like you guys have never driven in an ISF. The ISF is worse, but weird worse, it'll shake the shít out of you, but it won't actually hurt your back/it's still comfortable somehow (I have chronic back pain and I broke my àssbone, so I think I know back/àss pain, and I can sit and drive an ISF for hours on end, like my Touring 370Z, but Nismos and base Z's, can't do it for long)

The M3 is both comfortable and accurate when driving. Proving that bumpy isn't always needed (oh, and I would never own a Nazi car, don't hate them exactly, but I hate them)

putting the same non stock soft race tires on a sport and a nismo, I would say the nismo would probably pull more lateral, but not a lot. it IS the same chassis after all. downforce would also play in.

Umm actually its the massive wing on the back that makes us feel elite. This is common knowledge!

ok. Stupid comment/question incoming. Since everything on the Nismo is so firm, why not swap out shocks/struts with the sport model ones? There are a couple of braces that could very well be removed as well that would allow a bit more roll that could quite possibly let you have the best of both worlds. Hit me if I'm wrong. Or hit me if you are offended at the thought. I might even do it for you. Nevermind.

It depends the type of road/track, smooth, yeah sure, Nismo, any bumps, base/sport. A lot of the Nismo crew changes their springs out at least

yeah thats not uncommon at all from what I hear. If you dont track your car all the time its actually not a bad idea to toss in the touring suspension lol. I would but the car sees track time a decent bit.

Well, seeing as how I'm planning on possibly picking up a Nismo in the near term I think I may actually get the sport suspension parts and mate them with the swift springs I still have in the closet. I think it would round everything out nicely for a DD and will take the track just fine as well.
