Trade 2013 370Z Nismo for 2013 G37 IPL Convertible?
 

I was getting oil change today at the dealer and saw a 2013 G37 IPL convertible on the lot. My 13 Nismo have 3k miles on it, the G have 3k miles also. The manager gave me $36k for my Z and would sell $46k for the G. Very tempting. Should I do it?

IMO hell nah. The Nismo is unique and rare. Even though it's an IPL, I see sooooo many G37s driving around. I barely see another Nismo let alone a 370Z. I don't think the G has the wow factor like the Z. To me it looks like an Altima Coupe. Unless you need the 4 seats, keep the Nismo.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I just need to get an exhaust system cause the nismo is too quiet.

Seriously, it's your money and your personal taste, but taking a $10k hit to swap cars is something to really contemplate. Asking a bunch of yahoos on an internet chat board probably won't provide you with the information required to make the decision.

Again, go with what you can afford and still be happy.

Its your money.. so you should do whatever you want! However if I were in your shoes, unless you need the extra 2 seats I would stick with the Nismo.. even then if I were going to get a G I would get a coupe.. Used to own one and I loved it for what it was

Woohoo! Glad you chose to stay! I agree. It is too quiet. If you want loud, go with AAM Short tails. It's probably the loudest exhaust without having HFCs or TPs for the money. I love mine but it's not for everyone. If you want some good gains and a good exhaust note, look in FI.

Yeah I want the FI CBE but hate to wait. I've been checking the classified section for a used one but no luck yet. AAM short tails is too loud for me. I take my daughter to school everyday.
