wheels

Ive just got a general question about some wheels. Im not greatly familiar with the wheel making process so i wanted to ask your guys input. i was looking into the forgestar f14's but i dont want to buy if it would be a downgrade from the stock NISMO wheels. i was told its not necessarily apples to apples from Mike at getyourwheels who seems like a good guy but i wanted to get a third party opinion. Any info is appreciated

Stock Nismo wheels are stronger

ok thats my understanding since they are monoblock correct? but if i dont track my car or anything would it be blasphemy to go with these? will i be sacrificing much in the performance area?

Not because of them being monoblock, but because your wheels are FULLY forged, vs Forgestars are rotary forged, which means just the barrels are forged, and even then, they're not at the same quality of forging.

Honestly, as long as the weights are close, you should be ok, or you won't notice a loss of performance, and the strength of the wheel for a DD is measured by potholes. That's about it

ok cool i appreciate the info

I've been tossing around the idea of the F14s as well. Super deep concave in rear and deep concave up front. If you go with them post what sizes and offsets you went with.

The nismo wheels are super strong, look great, and are lightweight.

The Forgestar wheels are strong, look good, are lightweight, and give you sizing options.

ok i plan on getting them in a couple weeks when my financial aid comes in lol. i plan on going with a 19x9.5 up front and 19x11 in rear and the guy from getyourwheels said they have an offset that will get me flush without adjusting any suspension. it may be a little while but ill get pics whenever i pull the trigger on these
