Differneces between 2009 and 2010 370z nismo
 

The 09 seems like it performs worse than the rest of the years and seems like it is missing things. What is the difference between the 09 and 10 370z nismo's?

Not a god damn thing? how about 2011 nismo? Because car and driver says that when they tested the 2009 nismo vs the 2009 touring. The Nismo was only .1 second faster and wasnt a big diff in handling at all.

I thought they changed smoething with the nismo brake pads?

Yep, not a god damn thing. The Nismo isn't faster really, it's a Sport, with a body kit, a bit extra HP (exhaust included), different suspension and different wheels

Now somewhere mid '10/11 they changed the struts, BUT I believe this was only for NON Nismo models.
Now, Nismos DO NOT come with Nismo pads, I believe they made it an option after one of the car magazines crashed their test car.

So '11 remained unchanged as well

The Nismo isn't like other models where from '09 to '10 they changed the Nav system to be DVD updateable, and instead of a iPod input it has USB, and '10 has Bluetooth streaming where '09 had Bluetooth calling ONLY

And all '12s got an "oil cooler"

Very informative! and i already knew that the Nismo has wider tires lighter forged rays and bigger brakes with akebono calipers and upgraded interior and stiffer suspension including springs and struts for better handling in corners and also 18 extra hp and 6extra torque. I just needed to know if there was a change in handling or anything. I guess not! thanks man!! :D

only dif between the 09' and 10' was that the 10' got heated side mirrors.

Mines a 10 (late-#699 out of 702). And it has them!

just because the 2010 registry we have stops at 704 doesnt mean thats all that were made.

Yeah get the cheapest Nismo you can, hardly and differences, I think the new ones will have BOSE stereo option and water cooled oil cooler but not as good as a real air cooled oil cooler.

I've been looking for a Nismo for 3 months now and have not found one. I've checked cars.com, Autotrader, and craigslist. Everything is way above my price. my budget is 30k max.

I checked in CA, and there arent many Nismos for under $30k.. Most were 35-40k still.

You can save a few thousand by flying out to Phx and picking up a 370z and driving it home. Taxes are cheaper, and car prices are cheaper then CA.

I have personally went and checked out this car. The lambo doors and underglow is a little much, but this one has 12k for $32k, but you can talk it down a couple thousand.

There are a couple more out there around 30k.. If you are interested, look online when you are ready and I can always drive and check it out, take pics for you, etc.. if its close to me. That way you know that you are buying a perfect car.

32,000 will take mine home to a new owner. 2010 Nismo with only 6,500 miles. FI longtubes, and FI catback exhaust. Factory exhaust comes with it. Shoot me a pm if interested.

Curious, when going from a 2009 sport to a 2009 NISMO, can you feel the differences when driving? Are they dramatic or very subtle?
