Default burning smell.

i dont hardly ever race my car.. i dont floor it from a dead stop. maybe once in a blue moon. but today i did. had a guy on a motorcycle want to mess around and thought it would be fun. i forgot to turn off traction control only cause i rarely do these things. i gave it some good rpm's and tried to take off. i started rolling but not going anywhere and the rpm's maxed out a couple times.

It was as if the clutch just gave up. first thing i checked was traction control,, that light was not coming on, only the REV light. i waited until the car calmed down and the rpm.s dropped until i tried to give it normal gas and drive away.

The car drives fine, but now i smell a burning smell from the engine.. anyone got a clue as to what that could be? Every time i drive it now i get that smell.

thank you
