Nismo Damage advice - Where should I take it?
Well... This was a thread I never wanted to start...
My brother backed his car into my Nismo (I guess it's called Magnetic Black for a reason...). The passenger side tail light is cracked (badly), and directly beneath it the number is lightly dented with a "strom" of deep scratches (no way to buff out). Does anyone have experience with these issues? I could really use some advice. I want it fixed - I don't even want to think about getting Gieco involved........ So I would cover it myself. Looking online I found an OEM Taillight for $270 (without shipping). So that's easy... But then there is the bumper. Should I take it to Nissan? I live in South Florida - so if anyone has any recommendations they would mean the world. Thanks guys. UPDATE: Pictures added... Its difficult to see the dent in the bumper from the shots here, but its a little worse then it appears.

I have a passenger taillight you can have for half the price. It has a very small scuff on it (it's barely noticeable). Let me know if you are interested so I can go to storage and grab a picture for you.

Most dealers in my area have an automotive/body shop they use for repairs. They don't actually repair the car at the dealership itself. I think by using the dealership's shop, that they would do a better job at matching paint, parts, clips, etc... It's nerve racking I've been in your shoes recently. Whomever you take it to, I recommend you spend some time doing some research and reading the reviews and blogs. If you're lucky enough to have a Z speciality shop in your area, its almost a no brainier. But read the reviews! Good luck.

also, GET THE JDM ONES!!!! this is the PERFECT excuse to get new tail lights. The JDM version of the nismo has white tail lights and it looks pretty damn cool on certain colors of the nismo. Plus, that would put yours apart from everyone elses a little bit. And as far as i know..... they probably cost just as much as the US version. 749 i think for the set.

I would be interested in the JDM Tail Lights ... it just may come down to cost. Its about $260 to $300 for one rear tail light and about $700 for a set of the JDMs.
Did I mention I'm picking up the bill for this... My brother is 16 and its going to take him all summer to pay me back. lol. fml.

$650, minus $250 for your other one=$400 When you go to sell the car, you sell them for $400+ trade, and bam, you had JDM tail lights for free
