There are some driveways that I cannot make into at all. Most I can approach at an angle, but I picked up a girl for a date and I just happened to ask if she had a steep driveway. She said, "Actually I do..." and I was going to bring my SUV, but I ended up bringing the Nismo 'cause, well, yeah. :) Anyway, I took that thing at the most conservative angle possible and cleared the nose, but had I traveled another inch or two forward, I would have been high centered. I parked it and walked to her door, haha.

I've actually managed to never scrape on anything up to this point... but that one was seriously close to being catastrophic.

Almost an inch? I don't think so. At most it would be .4 inches but I installed a Nismo shock/spring set on my Base/Sport and it actually lifted my front a little. Rear was exactly the same.

No, definitely not true. The fender gap between the Nismo and the Non-Nismo is about the same. I measure it everytime I meet up with new 370z local members. It almost becomes my hobby now. LOL. So yeah, I can tell you the ride height is about the same. But since the Nismo front is longer and doesn't go upwards up front like the non-nismo front, it makes the nismo closer to the groud and far more easier to get scraped.

OP, to give you the precise data on the nismo front,

The lowest points which are the two edges of the front spoiler are exactly the iPhone 4 length which is 4.5 inches off of the ground stock height. I know it because I measured it resently for possible future sale.

To be honest, you will be fine with most of the speed bumps. But you WILL scrape when you get on/off the incline. Even 30 degrees. Drive slow and angle it will be your best bet.

Feeling that diagonal offset where only one back wheel is touching is the craziest thing.

I have a really steep driveway.

Don't worry about scraping too much...you'll scrape...if the bottom plastic piece gets too scraped up, it's replaceable.

They are $399 from ZSpeed but if you aren't in a hurry you can get a used one for about that.

Dose yours cover the whole under body or just 1/4 cause I'm pretty sure it was the zspeed site that showed wat looked like 1/4 of one for $200

I just ordered a 2014 Nismo 370Z. One of the mods I'm having installed at the dealer before I drive it off the lot is a ZSpeed aluminum engine undershroud. Also had one installed on the 350Z I sold before buying the new car.

Make sure you keep the OEM nismo undertray. They are $1000+ just for that plastic piece. Even if you don't use it you could sell it on the forum. People will fight for it if the price is right.

Also remember that while it's not so much lower than a regular Z, it has a longer bumper which really makes it an issue.
