Differences between the earlier nismo models and the 13' nismo model - new discover:)
Hey guys, have you noticed the shift knob in earlier nismo models and the 13's are different - leather and the location of the shift map? My old 09 nismo shift knob(left) vs new 13's nismo shift knob(right).

The right one looks nicer... the shiny gloss on the left one looks cheap.
Note: I think my 2012 has the shifter on the right; I'll check out the shift map when I get in my car to go to work! |

The shifter on the right looks to be the one that comes in the non-nismo manuals.

That's very possible. Or maybe the interior detailing made it shine.

I noticed the difference in the leather on the steering wheel and shift knob when I went from my 40th to a 2013 Nismo. The leather feels smoother and looks nicer. I also noticed that on the car sticker where it lists all the features on options and stuff...it says smooth leather, my 40th sticker didn't say that.

The location of the shift map looks same as my 09 shift knob. So maybe it's only the 13's is slightly different. Thanks for the picture.

lol ok, the new nismo has the boss audio option, 2013 is the ONLY year you can get the magma red which i think is prettier than solid red "like my 09" the rims are dark, the leather trims a slightly different texture/color as you noticed, around the little "computer" screen on the left its now black instead of silver. and of course it has an oil cooler like every 370 since 2012. Also they use the GTRs break line system and oil now for whatever reason. other than that its exactly the same car. I can tell a HUGE difference in how the breaks "feel" now, it seems to give a lot more input and you can start to be able to predict fade much easier..... only useful if you track it. I heard there were suspension tweaks but as far as i can tell its exactly the same as it was lol, feels just as annoyingly stiff and uncomfortable to drive :P I dont know if it has a different flash but the car does seem to be a little more lively then my 09 was as well. but i wouldnt go as far as say its faster, just more responsive. anyone that has a pre 13 should drive one to verify its not just me.
