F.I. LTHs on NISMO

Considering the Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers for my ONLY exhaust mod. Want some power gains with a little extra growl, but nothing loud (been there - done that). Anyone have this setup? Anyone know what I could expect in terms of gains?

I have the full FI exhaust on my Nismo. So I can't give you much advice as you only want to do the LTH's. Tell you this. If you do them yourself. Plan on about 1.5 hrs on the right side and about 5~6 hrs on the left.

Would you happen to still have the install instructions?

probably the same gains as a test pipe, maybe a bit more. you should look more into it though

This couldn't be more accurate.

Driver side is a pain. we started at 4pm and ended at 1am on a Sunday. Yeah work the next day was rough.

Anyways youll see a few whp and tq more on LTH's over TPs or HFCs. Itll also sound more brutal.

Also, OP im selling mine if youre interested.

Why so much more difficult?

G37sHKS 04-17-2013 05:48 PM

Tight fit my friend thats all, unless you have very small hands then it shouldnt be a "difficult"

MyKindaGuise 04-17-2013 07:42 PM

Yes its a very tight fit. Also the steering rack has to be pulled out or at least loosened and moved back. Even then its still tight without a lift. Its well worth it though.

Can anyone share the install instructions with me?

I didn't drop the rack. I removed the steering shaft from the rack. The hard part was removing the heat shield on the exhaust manifold. :icon14:

Oh sorry that's what I meant haha. Its late...too late :/ haha

The driver side sheild was a pain. I could barely get my hands in there. Its amazing how much more room is in there with the bulky OEMS removed.
