2013 nismo 370z vs 2014 nismo 370z
 

I was about to but a brand new 2013 Nismo when I saw the 2014 Nismo which from my point of view looks super sick. What I want to know is does anyone know what is the difference if any between the 2013 and the 2014?

I could be wrong but I don't think anything is really different besides visual.

I think its just aesthetics. (that look cheesy imho)

The gauges are different, the steering wheel is alcantara with a red stripe, as you know portions of the body are painted graphite with red pin striping, there is a red square thing added to the center of the rear bumper/diffuser

No power change...just some shytty stickers and a steering wheel. I'm sure a higher price tag to go with it.

I'm personally going to wait for the 2016's that when the real changes are supposed to take place.

I asked my Nissan freind why the prices of the Nismo keep going up, he said 1.) because people are buying them all at said price, he said they make so few they could prib charge more and still sell them all and mostly 2.) the yen vs dollar issue. Dollar is losing value, the US ones go up, japanese ones dont

Will they come with navigation now? Why didn't the previous version? I never understood that.

you have to trickle out the accessories to keep people interested i guess. if im not mistaken everything was available on the jap nismos as extras from nissan.

2014 Nismo doesn't look bad. But for some reason, I like the 2-tone 350z Nismo better. Maybe I haven't got used to the 2-tone 370z nismo yet. But then again, look is totally subjective.

Personally, not a fan of the two toned side skirts and lips.

Best change was 2013 gunmetal wheels imho.

Anyone want to trade theirs for my 2012 silver ones? :)

The black tone on the skirts just makes the car from afar higher..

Nissan took a nice car (Nismo) and stuck some shitty stickers on it changed the tach and put a retarted orange line on the steering wheel?

Because they had an opportunity to add more power to the car and make it truly special and instead the team said: "Lets add more stickers to the car and rice it up some more and call it a day."

I might come back to the Nismo for 2014! I think it looks great. I will be nice to see other colors with the grey trim as well in addition to the white.

I have to say, the out of the box package the Nismo has is probably one of the best on the road today.

I would have liked it better if on the NON black Nismo's they did gloss black instead of gray and on the black they did carbon fiber on the bottom :) lol

A carbonfiber top of the wing like the EVO 8 would have been sharp and maybe some gloss black wheels too. Added maybe 15hp and shaved 100 pounds off. That would have got me excited and still maintained a subtle classy change/upgrade.

I went from a 06 350z to a 09 370z. I lost tire pressure display where it actually showed the psi for each tire and my rear windshield wiper. wth right? anyway if anyone plays SFIV notice how they made a new game and released later versions with more content, so yeah now 370z has navigation, stupid! :shakes head:

The 2015 NISMO is just a quickie stop-gap for the 2016. They addressed some some minor complaints the generic masses had about the exterior (huge front lip scrapping stuff; massive spoiler blocking rear view) and threw in navigation and auto-tran to herd more sheep.

If this is the last model of the Z34, and 2016 brings the Z35, the redesigned exterior might count as a final farewell touch. People are still pushing rumors of an RS version of the NISMO Z34 for 2016 (this time with actual engine modification). Would make sense if Nissan needs more time for the Z35, but it's still too early to tell. Personally, I'm one of those who doubt it will happen... well know in a year or so.

Either way... the age of the Z34 has long since passed. Everyone -- from the experts to casuals -- is waiting for the NEXT generation to release. This is just Nissan try to squeeze what little juice is left in the bottle. It should be pretty obvious to everyone, and Nissan has never tried to hide that fact. I think their official term for it is, "twilight years."

Japanese nismos came with leather seats, navi, and a stupid looking rear windscreen wiper like the 350s had, since 09. The american market is just getting navi and "leather" recaro seats for 2015. And thats a negatory on the price yen vs dollar, if converted directly from their jp pricetag to dollars with current exchange it would actually be more expensive. So one plus is its discounted for the american market, it could account for why we never got most of the options till now as an attempt to sell the car under 50k. Also.....2013 looks better, those dumb mismatched parts and pin stripes make it look like some fast and furious 16 year olds wet dream, not an adult car.

No, just a bose audio option. That option was new for that year.
