OIL Question
This may sound like a noob question but id rather be safe than sorry. I changed the oil on my NISMO and the Manual says to put in 4 7/8 qt if I dont change the filter. So I think I put in 2 or 3 Oz too much (over 4 7/8). So it was closer to 5. Am I good? Or should I drain the 3 Oz. Its just a bitch to take that cover off again. haha. Responses are appreciated. Thanks.

Why aren't you changing the filter?
And why don't you just use the dipstick? |
Oh, and why are you taking that cover off???
Nissan takes off the back 4-6 or whatever and just folds the plastic out of the way  |
Dude rule of thumb every time you change the oil make sure you change the filter!! Now what oil did you put in it? And agree why did you take the cover off??

During the break in process your car will probably burn more oil anyways... But I'm sorry, the filter change, especially on SUCH a new car is worth 10 times more than the oil that's in there |

Im going to San Diego. You're welcome. :tiphat: |
You need to invest in a oil filter wrench they are 7.99 at any auto parts store and I think Walmart sells them as we'll, another thing not changing your oil filter when you change your oil is like.... Not wiping you A** after you drop a Duce, just saying. If the oil is not half way up the dip stick you should be good the car will burn it off. And thanks for serving!

Next time use a screwdriver to stab the filter! Lol
Where are you moving FROM? (And I assume you're going to Camp Pendleton) Have fun there, enjoy the boob shaped nuclear reactors! (You'll see, LOL) |

And as far as the filter equipment. I have the little plastic cup one that is fit for this filter size. It just wont grip ive tried putting stuff into the cup to create more grip it just wont. And also I have the wrench type filter remover but its the one with the dumb rubber strap that you put on there and torque. I dented the filter on my 2011 before. But is there a certain type you guys use? Cuz I noticed the filter is in the same place as a regular Z but it has more **** around it. And You are very welcome sir!:tiphat: |

I use the one from harbor freight ($5) that connects to a 3/8" drive socket wrench. It sometimes doesn't catch, but if it doesn't, you'll just have to hold the 3 teeth a bit... |
