Got a call today from Connell Nissan here in Southern California. They say that they will replace both side of the calipers. That is what I call "awesome!". I would have been in tantrum if they say would just touch it up. Also, there is some peeling on the edge of the back bumper. They are aware of it but they say they will touch it up.....I dot think so! For now, Connell Nissan here been great so far.

This should be a sticky subject

I had peeling at both fender joints at about 6 months in. Nissan authorized the repaint and I've had no issues since.

No, i have not addressed the issue yet.
I have addressed another issue regarding paint on my car at a local dealership (09/2012) and never got a call back.

Glad to hear you are getting your issues addressed.

Go in-person. Repaints require an inspection and authorization by someone from Nissan corporate.

To tell you guys the truth, there are a lot of imperfections on this vehicle especially coming from Japan. Thought Japanese are clean and detailed people....not!

Yeah let's not get carried away and go all wacky racist here.

There are ferraris and lambos that roll off the assy line with defects. Take the car back to the dealership and articulate your problem. I have had zero problems getting Nissan to cover any defects I have run across.

Lol, I don't expect any I-talian car to be reliable...

But lets keep the thread to posts regarding the problem!

OP, have you heard anything hit your wheels while driving? Is there an possibility a rock hit it or got caught there?
I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT, but maybe? Lol...
In any case, it's a dealershit problem
