Top 5 "To Do's"

Hello

I'm looking for opinions on top 5 mods that may relate to performance, looks or down right "nasty" must haves. Please provide manufacture and your overall opinion and any additional information that you may have.

I would like to see overall what the forum is leaning towards when modifying their Nismo's. Yes, it depends on the purpose but still would like to hear from you.

Thanks!!!

Well, since you have a Nismo, everything goes to power

Clutch- the oem clutch is a joke IMO.. I went with an RPS clutch from specialty Z and love it!

Few more things that aresnt so extreme... tint, shift knob (I love my password jdm one), spacers... not sure what size for nismos?

Caustic 02-18-2013 08:25 PM

If I were to pick up a Nismo...

1. clear bra
2. tint
3. shift knob
4. homelink mirror
5. sound dampening for trunk
6. audio headunit with nav, bluetooth, usb
7. coilovers + spacers

Hmm, so much more to do...

Must do:

Oil cooler with thermo sandwich plate
Pull the fuse on steering lock if your car has it
Make sure the front spring spacer is removed
Change clutch helper spring if you can't stand the stock feel
Brake cooling ducts if you track it often

1. Pulled steering lock fuse.
2. Injen cai
3.HKS exhaust
4. Motordyne M370 intake
5. Uprev tune
6. Eibach springs and alignment kit

tower74 02-19-2013 12:56 PM

1. Clutch upgrade
2. F.I. turbo system
3. Fap to the power the car will put down
4. Endless smile
5. Done....for awhile.

IDK about 5 of the best mods.... but I would have to say my favorite on my car is my clutch/flywheel upgrade. I have a Southbend stage 2 clutch and a 22lb flywheel (stock is 31lbs). Engagement is so much smoother now and revs up some much faster than oem. Our stock clutch is garbage.

Off topic... OP your from Mass too?? Mind me ask where? We should go to Z meet when weather is warmer! And the local folks there can tell you what mods are the best and where you should take your car in.

Thanks for your feedback!!! Would like to see a little more branding, no I'm not trying to advertise just seeing what is the best out there for the money.

I could search the forum, but thought that it would be good to have a top 5 or top whatever to help not only myself but anyone else that is fairly new to imports. The forum is great info, but think sometimes people are going with whatever the forum is ruling.

I'm hoping if I have enough post I'll/we will have good starting point or argument which I will compile and post.

thanx!!!
