Thanks for all the input guys. Its appreciated. I was just wondering cuz theres a parking lot I pull into that is very steep. I think I could get away with pulling into it at an angle with no scratches. But as far as pulling out of it onto the main road im at a decline. So I was actually thinking of trying to back into the main road when its clear. But with my luck a cop will see me and give me a ticket. haha Those would be the most expensive scratches to avoid!

Be extra careful

I just replaced my front end chin spoiler (NISMO version) and bumper for $2,200 -- to include pain job. Not over the top expensive, but I could have used the money elsewhere. It was the result of driving the busted up, high-curb, deep sloping driveways of New Orleans and Chalmette for nearly two years. Since I've since headed out Texas way, I figured it was time to fix 'er up. I intend to be extra cautious from here on out. |

Mines a continuing problem. Any zip tie fixes just rip apart at speed. If i hit higher speeds, my wheel well liner gets pulled back from the wind and rubs on the tire. I have a 4x4" hole in the well liner now and tons of melted plastic all over. Such a mess. Im going to have to get it on a lift and do a alot of work with bolts and do some real heavy duty fix - or, go through insurance and see if they can replace.
Problem is 3 of the bolts cant be used on the edge because of material missing from both the bumper and the bottom plastic portion, so a real fix includes replacing the bumper, under tray and well liner. |
