Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew who was the owner of this Z or if you were the owner. Badge #0403

I'm thinking about purchasing her. Just wanted to know a little better history on the car. The A pillars seem to have been vinyl wrapped in gloss black, and the front and rear lip painted black.

According to the CarFax it has been a Texas Car. Had minor accident involving the rear in June of 2012. It is located in Austin, TX now.

No the end of the VIN # doesn't mean that its #0437.

I'm hoping all goes well. She has the emblems painted/vinyl black which I would replace, the a pillars I'm hoping are just vinyl wrapped, and the side markers I hope I can unsmoke them if not I will replace, and the door handles are black hoping that can be reversed. Making plans before I even have the car haha.

I are you wanting to put that stuff back to stock? I am considering doing some of the things you mention (though not fully committed yet to most of it), so I have stock emblems and pillars and door handles. If there's a reasonable trade that can be worked out, it might benefit us both :tup:

I actually have new emblems to go on the Z, so I will have the stock ones available after that install. I definitely want the side markers smoked, so I want to see those. I really want to do my door handles color matched (gun metallic) but if yours are professionally done, that might be wiser for now. I want to see the pillars, but unless they are matte, I will likely want them as well :tup:

Update: So the deal didn't go through last night. We were not able to agree on numbers for my trade. The car seemed to drive really well loved the power! My wife even enjoyed driving!

A side note I know my friends MY08 Nismo transmission and clutch are a bit noisy and Nissan deems this normal. Is this still typical of the MY09 Nismos?

I'm guessing the dealer may give me a call today after thinking about my offer last night.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
