New NISMO model 370Z?
I was bombing around on Nissan Global's website/Facebook when I ran across the press release for the Juke NISMO (Insert comment here:_______________).
Anyway....Nismo Japan has just opened a MASSIVE new NISMO facility near Yokohama. Which is unbelievable looking. The reason....NISMO is going to be releasing a whole new model line of NISMO vehicles like back in the '90s. Old news to many, but I spotted a comment in this article that is interesting. "This is the first chapter in a production story that will later unveil a range of models with motorsport DNA and engineering honed on the track, and the next in line is the 370Z, on sale later in 2013." Anyone else seen or heard anything about this? Or is Europe just FINALLY getting a NISMO 370Z model? Here is the link to the article: Nissan Global:Blog Thoughts? See youtube Link: NISMO Europe Debut
1:07 in in the 2013 NISMO is shown. But I dont know if it is anything different aside from some cosmetic touches. The top wing section is gun metal along with the lower areas like a NISMO 350Z. These may only be Europe-spec changes too. |

I wonder if Nismo and IPL (Infiniti's performance line) will become more prominent in-house tuners for their respective brands...just like BMW's M division.
Nissan corporation may focus on allowing Infiniti to pursue this w/ IPL models since they compete more directly in these high-performance, luxury segments~~~ I would love to see the Japanese really show the world how their engineering can be applied towards high-performance products. Lexus surprised quite a few enthusiasts with their IS-F sedan... Last edited by bigsix; 02-04-2013 at 10:50 PM. Reason: etc |

Yeah this is the 2014 Euro Spec Nismo 370z. I haven't heard any major changes(power/performence wise) except few cosmetic changes. Love the steeling wheel tho. Not sure if the US Nismo will have those cosmetic changes too.

2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo gets tweaked
Looks like the same changes are coming to the US. Personally, I think the gray body kit looks hideous. It reminds me of the kids with modified Civics that haven't gotten the funds to paint their add-ons. I know some people are into this, but I think it detracts greatly from the look of the car. |

Don't like the rear reflector, hope that is not for the US. Not digging the red stripes, when you look at the pictures it is easy to see its just a sticker. Not sure how I feel about the 2 tone, but wonder what Gun Metallic looks like. Is it just one color then?
No tangible benefits, and the paint scheme may make it harder to like. Not sure this is a benefit to the car... |

-Red stripes are stickers.
-Rear Fog light does not seem to be an integral mold with the bumper. separate piece most likely be purcahsed at the dealer as accessory. -Yokohama advan sport now changed to Potenza |

Ill need to see it in real life to decide. I wonder if it will look badass in black? It would be a total blackout except for red calipers and red stripe.
