I'm interested in Turbo or Supercharging my NISMO. Anybody know who's got the best one for the beast?

Based on your statement I'd say you probably need to figure some things out first such as, your goals for the build (would most likely determine SC or TT), budget, etc.
Keep in mind the kit alone is just the beginning of the costs. You also have additional cooling requirements, upgraded drivetrain (clutch, etc.), gauges to monitor everything. What ever your decision good luck.

Time to do some reading. Look up some "journals" or "WIP" or "build" threads, you'll get a good idea which way you want to go after reading some of them.

I agree with the above. You have to figure out or tell us what you intend to do. For street or drag strip or track. Then you can figure out whether go with sc or single turbo or twin turbo. But general speaking, GTM kit is one of the best kit out there. Do some searches and readings then you know what specific questions to ask.

I say go twin turbo for street use. Just do it the right way if you plan to push the car a lot. As with any forced induction, you trade reliability and longevity for that power. If you're building a track car, there are far more effective uses for 10 grand without having to go forced induction. ....and 10 grand is the low side for the kit plus install cost. Be prepared to set aside at least $15k-$20k total to account for any unforeseen expenses.

Twin Turbo's
To all who have asked:
1) The car is for street, and daily driving. 2) Yes. I want to do it right. 3) Have no intention of tracking the beast So - that said, I'm starting my research in to how much HP I want. Unfortunately, the folks at Hennessy won't even give me any tips. So, they're out of the running. Period. There are a few reputable speed shops in the Austin area and that's my next stop. I'll be happy with 540-ish HP to the rear wheels. My intention is also to put 305's on the rear in order to handle the additional thrust. Now the research starts in earnest. |

Putting down that power effectively will most likely require 1)stronger clutch & flywheel upgrade 2)more robust LSD 3)the aforementioned cooling systems That's several grand alone but is very useful in actually getting the power to the ground, even on a stock block. |

with 540whp, you will be at the edge of reliability. Either drop your goals or spend twice as much for peace of mind and potential to reach 600+whp. COOLING COOLING COOLING as stated in the previous post. Get the supporting mods first so your not breaking things.
Add a radiator, at minimum, a 34 row oil cooler and tuning software to the list above. You will definitely need a better exhaust, so good luck...

I have a stage 1.5 SC GTM and make 516 rwhp 383 rwtq and it is reliable all day long , Sam at GTM told me 550 at the wheels is about the limit(since the limit varies car to car)a good number to shoot for is 500 rwhp this way you can decide which is best for you either a SC or TT.
