For the sound and weight loss, it may be worth it... but I want to have realistic expectations about the performance gains or lack thereof. While this has been alluded to in other threads, I'm not sure it's been stated as succinctly as this.
No problem man. I hope someone here can post some dyno numbers on FI exhaust alone without tune vs FI exhaust + HFC/TP without tune vs FI exhaust alone with tune vs FI exhaust + HFC/TP with tune. Then this thread is going to be very helpful.

EDIT: I don't think many people would have a tune just for HFC/TP + CBE. So numbers on any combination of bolt-on mods with a tune would be helpful. And thanks for people already did this here!

Performance wise here is some info on the nismo exhaust.
two different nismo exhaust????? (nismo car ver and S-tune ver?)

The base Z is 332hp
The Nismo exhaust adds about 8hp alone. So the Nismo's Tune adds the other 10 to get to 350hp.

So saying the FI exhaust addes 20hp to a Z seems about right, 10hp (as apposed to 8hp) or so because it's slightly larger and less restrictive with the other 10hp coming form the Tune.

So you better really like that sound because your paying alot of money for 2hp and losing a lot on selling a used exhaust.
That base 332HP is advertised at the crank. Real world at the wheels. I only got 282HP.

Sorry Rusty but these numbers are completely uncomparable.

There's no way you can directly compare Mustang dyno results to Dynojet results since Mustang Dyno's read so much lower than Dynojets. Heck 282 on a Mustang probably is 318 on a Dynojet (the difference ratio is typically pretty close to 13%).

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but just giving you the facts.

The whole thing is planning your mods so that you don't getting there. I figured this is the last car I am modding, so I want to make the most of it. I just want to enjoy it for a long time. It's also the last car I'm buying. Retirement is right around the corner.

I tweak all my cars and I have a loooong way to go till retirement. Nevertheless it really is fun to get the best from a cool car like the Z. Especially if its your daly driver where you can really get time to love on your Mods.
