UpRev

Quick Question.

I see online that a lot of people recommend to get your car tuned if you change out a few mods. I have changed to a Cold Air InTake and have on order FI Test Pipes, and Exhaust.

How important is it that I get it Tuned? I was told that its not that important, yet I read online it is.. How important and how much of a difference can I expect from UpRev?

thank you

Your first breather mod is the most important and you will see the most gains. Anything you add after that wont be as significant without a tune.

For example, with CAI- (10-15hp) Test Pipes (8-10hp) Exhaust (5-15hp)

Ill be generous and say that you potentially gained +25 hp from the following mods, but with proper tuning, you will see another 10-15hp or more with a proper tune.

You can also do things such as valet, delete the rev limiter, delete the top speed, add security start, and you can also see increased MPG.

That is what I thought.. I will get a Tune then.. thank you!

More importantly, a tune can correct your a/f ratio otherwise you will run lean which is bad for your car. CAI, TT and CBE alone won't mess your a/f ratio that much(thus a tune is not necessary) but since you have all 3 mods together then you should go for a tune to be safe.

When you talk about Uprev, which module would I get for the nismo and does it tune automatically?

I think when you pay that much they will dial it in on their Dyno..
Or from what I read they have presets that will match what you have put on your car.
