I'm thinking about putting the carbon fiber inserts on the side mirrors, door handles and stereo area inside. Any opinions on this? Any recommendations on a particular brand or manufacturer?

Finally installed my Stillen Gen 3 on my Nismo!
Completed the Stillen Generation 3 on my 2013 Nismo. The install took 4.5 hours. I did not remove the top part of the engine cover or any of the engine supports. I definitely feel more low end power and a little deeper engine noise. The bumper was easier to remove than I thought but its not for the faint at heart! I was really concerned when I first pulled on it but it came off just as this forum reported.
I want to thank all of the members that were a part of the DIY install. It was a GREAT HELP!: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...de-ak370z.html Last edited by DavidB123; 09-23-2012 at 12:42 AM. |

When I first did mine. Taking the front bumper off reminded me of taking the fairings off my sport bikes. Almost the samething.

Thank you. It's just a step by step process of where I'm taking the Nismo to. Still alot of things I want to do to it. BBK, coil-overs, seats, etc.

Thank you. I want to make so that anyone else follow me and do the samethings. It's really not that hard for what I have done. Just a little pricy on some stuff. LOL I'm waiting on "phuck" and his fuel starving kit to get done. That will be my next project I think.

What's your take on the Uprev? I see you have it. Would this be a good addition now? Do you think I would see much difference without other performance upgrades like exhaust etc...?

I got an increase of 23 RWHP with just tuning on top of what my mods got me. This plus the removal of the throttle delay really makes a difference in how the car feels when you drive it. Much more responsive now.
