like i said above, you have to roll the steel wool into a tightly packed ball just big enough to fit in the bung. the first time i tried steel wool i just packed it in there and it all burnt up after a quick drive around the block. rolled it up into a tightly packed ball and voila...20k miles later and its still there

TP's which prob flow more air causing the wool to come loose and fall out in time.
im just giving you a heads up about the quality of their parts. i hope you have zero issues and it all goes smooth. also i had to buy all new hardware with mine. and the factory gaskets had to be reused. the studs are welded onto the factory cats. Last edited by fuct; 08-14-2012 at 06:47 PM. |

Cnt's hfc's installed! Perfect bolt on for your nismo!
Good News Installed yesterday! Love em! Perfect sound an barely any rasp!
Install went pretty smooth took only about an hr or so tops for both. Stuffed a ball of steel wool grade 3 into extenders as well as o2 bung. No check engine yet drove about 80 miles so far. Sound is deep n throaty! depends on what rpm level you are at, basically it sounds like a stock Nismo except louder and deeper an definitely not annoying. They are perfect so far from what I noticed compared to my 08 HR and its great for daily driving. A+ Highly recommended to everyone looking into HFC's. HP gains are definitely noticable toward mid to higher rpm's and especially at high speeds above 60mph's and throttle response it much better. CNT's seems to have made high quality parts and we also used the bolts/gaskets that came with it my mechanic said they appeared to be pretty good quality and fitment was perfect. Overall pretty impressed with CNT'S HFC'S and I know the sound will only get deeper. Reasons to buy CNT's HFC's
No smell like TP's! No check engine! (make sure to put in steel wool into 02 bung's and extenders) Keep you all posted with video sound clips. Thanks for looking!

We usually like to allow the product to speak for themselves and we are very please to know that you are happy with the HFC. Just keep in mind, and the same goes to anyone out there who had purchased any of the CNT Racing products, our company do offer a one year limited warranty for manufacture defect. If you come across with any issue, feel free to contact us. Thank you |
