Also MUCH MUCH MUCH lighter than stock. Granted in order to get a REAL full CF hood your gonna pay out the @$$. But VIS wraps CF over fiberglass so its extremely light. I needed two people to get the OEM hood off but only one person was needed to put the CF hood on. Honestly the weight wasn't even noticeable when installing

I know I'm reviving an old thread but I was just curious is anyone is using heat shields on their carbon fiber hoods. I don't want my hood to suffer from fading or cracking so I'm wondering if a heat shield is a way to help.
