Default Starting up.......help

Hey guys I recently purchased my 2012 nismo about a month ago, and I been having a start up problem with the car. At sometimes when I push the start bottom to start it, it goes click, click, click, click, click, click, and then it starts like if it has a trouble starting, but the good thing is that it start the first time. And sometimes it starts up fine like a normal start up. My only consern is that it takes a while to start up, it only happens sometimes and and it starts up at the first try. Am just wondering if any of you guys have or have had this problem. Thanks.

Are you holding the button? With your foot on the clutch just hit the button once

I would suggest to have the Battery tested.

Few weeks ago, I had this situation when I push the start button my car also goes click click ....... but it still won't start up then I tried few times later then it completely no response at all and YES the battery is dead lol...
Sometimes having difficulties on starting up the car is a symptoms of the battery deadline is near.
But not sure on your situation cos your car is still new. Just hope everything is fine.

This is just my personal opinion because I hate others driving my car and chances are the you won't be able to replicate the problem in which case the dealer will just put you on your way. I would remove the battery myself, very easy to do, and take it to Checkers or Cragen or Pep Boys and have them check the battery. If it's dead at least you know what the issue is and you can just walk the battery in for a new one. Install yourself at home. Then again, thats just me.

I feel like there should be some type of warranty for the battery. He said he just got the car a month ago and its already giving him problems. Normally I would agree that going to an auto parts store to test it would be best but in his case he should try and get a new one under warranty

I got the car on may 12th so it should still be under warranty. The car has a little bit under 500 miles. The warrant say 36,000 miles.

I have read that in the fuse box there is a battery saver switch or something for when the car sits without use. I just got mine last month and there was a sticker or something that said this. Might not be the case, but maybe someone knows more. Im new to this car also.

The car start at the first try I start it but like I said it makes the click noise like 5 times and then it starts. Other times I noticed that the car starts up fine with no problem. I only drive my nismo on the weekends because am out of town mon-fri. and I have to leave it siting in the garage.
