I was complimented on my rims yesterday. Some guy asked me where I bought the rims and I told him they were stock. He was surprised.

Does anyone know what the widest tire you can fit on the these stock NISMO rims is? (w/o sacrificing performance of course) I'd like to get wider tires and not get rid of the rims because I too think they are sick, sexy, sleek, hot.......you get the point.

Some have gone with 265f/305r, but I am sure that you can stuff 315s in the rear (I just don't want to come off the doe). That setup looks to be the safest setup without having to roll fenders and stuff.

On the NISMO wheel topic............I have loved every NISMO wheel that Rays/Nissan has released. My only issue is that I am having a really hard time letting go of my 09 NISMOs to get some Works/Volks. I even have a set of Sports to be used as winters, lol! I am toying around with the Gunmetal/Bronze idea but the old lady is not a fan, so a Work/Volk purchase of GM/BR wheel is probably out of the question.........

This. After seeing what the OEM's look like powder coated black, I'm definitely sticking with them. I went through nearly every 19" wheel from the wheel weight excel file, and they're quite light compared to others at that size. I was pretty surprised actually.

Dangit Nismochiq, just realized our avatars are the same in concept.

Like I said, after seeing them powder coated gloss black, I'm definitely keeping mine. I actually feel I have no need to even consider aftermarket now. Which is good, cuz thats one less thing I dream about doing to the car. I'm gonna black out handles, badges, tails, and maybe head lights. But first, my Nismo rim's get the treatment.

Thats what I want to do but ultimately they will be painted black with an accent of red.

Nismo owners here should make our avatars standardized like that and calling each other 09#xxx, 11#xxx...

Anyways, my nismo wheels get compliments ALL THE TIME! One of the best stock rims out there IMO.

I think the Sport rims look nicer, UNLESS the Nismos are black... I LOVE the Nismos in black with a red accent...
I'm thinking about getting my sport rims widened to 11" in the rear, I'll leave the front 9" so I dont sacrifice turning circle
