Anyone ever do this kit ? Supposedly works off your stock suspension and doesn't change the ride. Watch the video http://www.umbrellaautodesign.com/co...vrh_suspension

I have a few friends with the Umbrella kits on different cars (NSXs, GT-Rs etc) and they all love it. The only issues are the noise from the compressor (it is an air compressor afterall), but the kits work as advertised.

Do you know if it makes noise all the time or only when used?

I remember seeing NSX guy, as mentioned, and I have heard these kits are awesome. If I remember correctly, it is a bit costly, No?

It all depends on if you have a tank or not....
If you don have a tank it will run a whole lot longer then need be, if you have a tank it will build up and be good.... I was looking into this specific setup just never got around to it.... maybe one day if i dont get rid of the Z

With an air tank, the compressors will kick on any time your pressure switch shows the tank is low on air. This could be when you first turn the car on, it might be randomly, or it might not even happen at all on most trips. If your system is leak free, you won't hear the compressor(s) kick on very often. Also, if you mount them in the spare tire well and make sure they're rubber-isolated, you'll barely even hear them. Especially with some sound deadening material on the spare tire cover.
Without an air tank, you'll have to run the compressors whenever you want to raise the ride height. Also, KW offers a system similar to this. It's called the KW HLS. I've heard good things about the KW system and the Umbrella kit. The good thing about a system like this compared to regular air suspension is that your coilovers can still do their job. Air suspension doesn't perform as well as coilovers. With this, you get both.

Hi Guys, my Name is Ravi, i'm the owner of Umbrella Auto Design.
I'm excited and glad to answer any questions you may have regarding the VRH system. I need to get a vendor account set up so in the interim maybe email or call me so as not to break any forum rules Also here is a pic of my system for the Nissan GTR with JRZ RS Pro coilovers.
