STILLEN hybrid CBE vs FI CBE with Berk test pipes
I need advice I want one of the following exhaust systems both with BERK test pipes and Uprev software.
I currently own a 2012 nismo all stock and I wanted to keep it that way but after owning it for 1200 miles I realized the car could def improve in sound and overall acceleration and power . So I decided to look into a new exhaust or not , with test pipes and software. So my question is : 1) keep stock nismo exhaust and do Berk test pipes and Uprev to get some sound and a tiny Hp gain ? 2) Stillen hybrid exhaust with Berk TP and Uprev 3) FI CBE with Berk TP and Uprev ? Anyone have sound clips ? Anyone have any of these setups ? Any info you have is greatly appreciated . |

I just put on a Stillen CBE on my Nismo. The sound is great, I love it, huge improvement from the stock Nismo exhaust. Had issues with fitting it though. Had to do a lot of tinkering to get a decent lineup, even at that, the left side wound up a little lower that the right side by 1/4" or so.

I Installed it myself, only takes a few hours with a good jack and some stands. Getting the lineup took a little longer. One tip, if your anal and want it perfect like me, get some big stainless steel hose clamps, (the kind you screw to tighten), put them around the exhaust pipe and a solid crossmembber under the body, and you can make minute adjustments to the position of the exhaust by turning the screws and moving the pipes up/down or left/right. |

Now what would I do? I am going with a full cat-back Meisterschaft exhaust (all three sections) from GT Haus. I hoping it will be here mid to end of May. I want that exotic sound which has the sound of Ferrari/Lambroghini, but you are going to pay & I mean pay for it. The Fast Intentions exhaust set-up will probably get you the most hp, but it all comes down to what do you want. I want to be the guy with the most unique exhaust which some people might come across another vehicle maybe once is a very long blue moon. The Meisterschaft exhaust is effen loud & if you have to second guess yourself or the sound might be an issue, then the exhaust isn't for you. FYI....... I like your choice of car & color big guy. I know you will pick something that will be awesome & remember patience is the virtue. Do your research on YouTube for exhaust sounds. For a Fast Intentions or Meisterschaft exhaust you will probably have to wait a good three months (hopefully shorter) for it to come it. These exhaust sell really quick & there is usually a waiting list. |

To each is own....... It is like asking which is better 370Z, 370Z Nismo, G37S, G37 IPL, 135i, 1M, EVO, STI, or etc? There is no such thing as "which one is the best." At the end of the day it comes down to two important things. What kind of sound do you want & what are you looking to spend (plan & simple)? If you want something loud & exotic then go with Meisterschaft exhaust, but if not go with F.I. exhaust. If you want to spend 1k or less for a full CBE, then forget about both of them. If you want to spend 2-3k for a full CBE, then you are in good shape. |
