Suggestions for lowering my Nismo
Would like to lower my street driven only Nismo and was thinking about the Eibach pro-kit springs. Would i need spacers? Would i need a camber kit to eliminate excessive tire wear? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I would go with some swift springs. Spacers and camber kit are not required, however if you have it in your budget I would recommend them!

I carry Eibach and Swift, as well as several spacer and camber kit brands. I'd suggest the Swift springs. They're much better matched for the OEM shocks. |
How much of a drop are they Swift springs supposed to provide?
I've seen other spring only drops on 370's and they were close to bottoming out the stock damper length just parked. Now a bump in mid corner... |
Pretty sure that you are going to need at least the rear camber bolts. I am lowered on Tanabe springs and I am still out of spec even with the SPL camber arms.
Get the Eibach or SPC camber bolts, (same thing) and that should help with tire wear. I have replaced the rears 2 times already and I still have the OEM fronts. |
For you guys lowered on springs, will the lower springs wear out the OEM Nismo shocks prematurely since the spring rate is more aggressive? I'd suggest to get the coilovers or get the aftermarket shocks as well if you go for the lower springs.

I went with Tein S Techs. Very happy. About 1" drop. Handles very well.
Here is a pic from recent a recent AutoX: http://coastalz.org/forum/download/f...=537&mode=view Foreground is an '11 NISMO stock springs. Mine is in the background, Tein S Techs. |
