Hi guys,
I have been doing some research on what springs to go with and I want as much drop as possible without going to coilovers. I decided to go with H&R springs. I also have been doing some research on H&R springs and it seems that the normal 370z spring setup is different that the Nismo setup or Roadster. All I'm looking for the part number of the H&R lowering spring set that compatible with the 2010 370z Nismo. I asked a vendor off site and they told me that the coupe springs are "NOT" compatible with the Nismo. Is that true? Thanks guys. |

Will these springs ruin the ride or make it better? Wont this put more strain on the specific parts on the car itself? I have heard bad things about lowering cars. I did it to my 99 ecplise GST back in the day. It was so low that I could not fit a tennis ball under. I hit every single speed bump, scraped up my car all the time. I had to buy a camber kit just so that it wouldnt eat the tires like mad! I had it in the shop every other month having adjusted because it would not hold. I am not touching my nismo, to me its low enough. I have a hard time getting in and out of places already even when taking it at an angle...

Stayed at a very nice hotel this last weekend near Hollywood. Parked in their lower garage but to get into the garage it was extremely steep. I did drive as careful as I could, angled it as much as possible. It didnt matter, I scraped. If my car was lowered, I would never have been able to get into the garage. Sometimes you dont have a choice.
